About The Lakes
White Acres welcomes you to one of the best premier fishing destination in the country. Boasting 12 tranquil fishing lakes.
The on site lakes include specimen match and pleasure all stocked with plenty of fish with match weights reaching 150lb plus. There are 2 specimen lakes Nelsons Lake which holds a good head of carp to 27lbs and catfish to 50lbs + and then there's Pats Pool with common, grass, ghost & mirror carp to 39lbs & catfish to 95lbs.
The lakes are designed to cater for all ages and ability's, With 300 pegs to choose from, there are also a number of wheelchair friendly pegs available with parking areas close to lakes.
Next to the lakes is the First Bite Cafe. There is also a tackle shop which is open daily between 08.00 and 17.00 hrs these times may vary depending on days, and is fully stocked with all bait and equipment you should ever need whilst on holiday. All top named tackle and bait brands are stocked, as well as White Acres very own range of pellets and ground baits which are very popular.
There is also gwinear angling and tackle shop which is approx 4 miles down the road and they stock a very good range of match, specimen and sea tackle at a very reasonable price, that's the place we go.
The fishery team is always on hand to offer friendly advice as well as weekly tuition for ladies & juniors on Mondays (juniors must be accompanied by a responsible adult).
To fish at White Acres you will need an up to date rod licence which can be purchased at any Post Office for either 1 week or 12 months. Fishing passes are also needed starting from approx £60.00 per week and they can be purchased at the tackle lodge.
